“Almanac” (2023)

A Regenerate! event at the University of Maryland

Thursday, November 16th, 2023

The exiting debut of the Regenerate! project in Maryland. This project took “almanac,” an immersion premiered the previous year in Michigan, and adapted it for University of Maryland musicians for a performance in the Clarice Smith Performing Arts building.

The performance took place in the breathtaking lobby outside of Dekelboum Concert Hall, with performers spread on multiple levels, creating soundscapes while manipulating props and perambulating. This project was led by Wesley Hornpetrie, with music written and arranged by J. Clay Gonzalez.
